1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide when creating an account and using Weiver, including your business name, owner name, phone number, and email address. When you add customers to the platform, we store their names and phone numbers. We also collect SMS delivery data (send status, delivery confirmation, link clicks) and usage data such as the number of messages sent and features used.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to send automated SMS review requests on behalf of your business to your customers, to track message delivery and link clicks so you can monitor performance, and to improve the Weiver service over time. We do not sell your data or your customers' data to third parties.
3. SMS Messaging
Weiver sends SMS messages on behalf of businesses to their customers who have an existing business relationship, consistent with implied consent under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Customers can opt out of receiving further messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Opt-out requests are processed immediately and the customer will not receive further messages from that business through Weiver.
4. Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, with servers located in Canada and the United States. SMS messages are delivered via Sinch, a telecommunications provider. Both services maintain industry-standard security practices including encryption in transit and at rest.
5. Data Retention
Customer data and message history are retained for as long as your account remains active. If you close your account, your data will be deleted within 30 days of account closure, except where we are required to retain it by law.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you or your customers. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email address below and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Weiver dashboard. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
